Gashapon Bandai Official Store Expands in Southeast Asia with the Opening of Its First Official Shop in Putrajaya Malaysia

Bandai Co., Ltd. and Bandai Namco Amusement Inc. have announced the opening of the firstever “Gashapon Bandai Official Shop” in Southeast Asia. This specialty store, dedicated to
Bandai’s popular capsule toy brand, will open its doors on Thursday, 23rd February 2023, at
IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The store, located at Lot L3-217, IOI City Mall Phase II, Lebuh IRC, IOI Resort, 62502,
Putrajaya, Malaysia, will offer fans a unique experience with all of Bandai’s latest products.
With its elaborate modeling and unique product development, capsule toys have become a
major part of the miniature toy industry and the “Gashapon Bandai Official Shop” aims to bring
this entertainment value to as many people as possible.

This exciting new store will offer visitors a chance to experience the “Gashapon experience”
that can only be found at an official Bandai store. The facility space of approximately 846sf is
equipped with 310 installed faces, making it the perfect place to find the latest and greatest
products from Bandai.

The store will be open from 10:00am to 10:00pm and interested individuals can find more

Japan website and official Gashapon website.

Bandai Co., Ltd. and Bandai Namco Amusement Inc. plan to open more stores in the future,
both in Japan and overseas, in order to bring the excitement and unique products of the
“Gashapon experience” to even more fans.
